Apartment design 31 square. m. non-standard, because it solves the difficult task of creating a cozy and comfortable living space in a small area. It is impossible to accommodate large sofas and huge cabinets, you can not use dark colors in the decoration.
To begin with, the premises had to be rescheduled in order to isolate a separate sleeping area and turn the tiny kitchen into a spacious kitchen-living room. Initially, the apartment had a “flaw” - the angular location, which made the room cooler than the similar ones, located “in the back of the house”. In addition, the presence of two windows in the same room did not allow to correctly arrange the furniture, eating the useful area of the wall.
It was possible to transform this disadvantage into dignity: the design of the bedroom of a one-room apartment turned out to be light and light - because it has a full-fledged window opening! The walls that go outside, additionally insulated.
The design of the apartment is 31 square meters. The dining area was not provided for, as it turned out not to be needed - the owners prefer to dine outside the house. Breakfast can be served on the desktop by the living room window, or on a small square table serving as a coffee table near the sofa.
For the master library and a large collection of wonders, which they bring from long journeys, they built a closet-rack high to the ceiling. The white color of the cabinet against the white walls makes it almost imperceptible; transparent glass “doors” enhance the feeling of lightness. Books and souvenirs come to the fore in such a decision, becoming real art objects in the room's decor.
In the decor of the living room textiles are not used - and this is another way to visually increase a small area. Curtains, curtains, curtains look beautiful, add comfort, but, of course, “eat up” the size of the room and reduce the luminous flux. Here everything was done to increase it: the balcony door is completely glass, and it would be wrong to curtain it with even the most beautiful curtains. And to make the window look decorative, they made a gold-like layout on the glasses.
In the living room due to the large glass area during the day is very light, and a large number of lamps is not required. Murano chandelier of black color was brought by masters from Venice and completely made by craftsmen by hand.
The wallpapers are designed by a Dutch designer, have a volumetric texture and resemble soft, finely tanned leather. This gives the apartment a design of 31 sq. M. m. a certain sophistication.
The kitchen has everything a hostess needs, even a dishwasher. The working area is located along the window: this allowed to use the area of the window sill, thereby saving space. Kitchen ergonomics are calculated to the centimeter: it is very convenient to work here.
The main white is complemented by a contrasting black in the kitchen: the stone worktop and the door handles of the kitchen cabinets in anthracite color underline the geometry of the space.
Light furniture facades look very stylish, although they are inexpensive: almost everything was bought at IKEA. Sustained in the same style, this furniture does not look bulky, and introduces the restrained severity of the classical style into the interior. The design of the bedroom studio apartment also used light furniture.
The design of the bedroom of a one-room apartment didn’t do without textiles: the soft folds of curtains with graphic black and white patterns echo the bedspread on the wide bed, and together create an atmosphere of peace and comfort.
For the bathroom, stained glass windows were planned as a means of lighting, however, while traveling to Istanbul, the owners were struck by interesting fixtures from a huge number of glasses, with wrought iron elements. Now these lamps have become one of the highlights of the interior.
