Modern studio apartment in the style of pop art

To create a stylish interior for a young family, the designer was inspired by the works of E. Warhol, T. Wesselman, R. Lichtenstein. The apartment in the style of pop art was designed for two young people leading an active life, enjoying modern art and maximally preserved the open space and was filled with bright, rich colors, in tune with the mood of the owners.

Apartment layout

Since the total area of the apartment is small to the main volume attached loggia. To do this, it had to be warmed, and the window unit - to dismantle. To get rid of the threshold between the floor in the main part of the room and the balcony, at the last a podium was staged - this, at the same time, made it possible to select a visual office that was staged on the territory of the former loggia. The entrance hall and kitchen are connected by a wide opening, thus avoiding the feeling of tightness. In addition, an additional partition appeared in the bathroom, highlighting the shower area.

Color solution

The main colors of the apartment in the style of pop art - beige with a gray tint, white and light blue. Against their background, bright tones with pop art canvases look especially juicy - yellow, pink, green, red. The white-blue floor of the aged boards visually unites the space of the apartment, and at the same time highlights the functional areas.

For the decoration of the premises was used plaster, imitating concrete. She finished all the walls, except for the bathroom - there they are tiled. The ceilings have two levels, and are painted in the same colors as the floor - white and blue.

Furniture

For an apartment in the style of pop art used a transforming bed: at night it is a full double bed, and in the daytime it is removed in the closet. Thus, it was possible to save a maximum of space.

The study on the loggia is separated from the rest of the room by an open bookcase. Part of its shelves is parallel to the floor, and some - at an angle, which creates an interesting decorative effect.

Spacious wardrobe performs two tasks: you can remove everything you need into it, besides the facades of the mirror canvas visually expand the space and increase the illumination. The inner surface of the cabinet has a bright lime color - it contributes to a good mood and exactly matches the style.
