MKCA Studios presented a small apartment-transformer, personifying a new approach to creating a modern comfortable home. What happened turned out to be clearly beyond the scope of developing a new interior; it is rather the result of scientific research, which made it possible to take into account all human needs and realize the necessary functions most fully, while taking up a very small area.
In the interior of the transformer, it is cozy to sleep, to rest comfortably, to work comfortably, to easily prepare food, to have fun with friends. There is even a bath - albeit a small one.
The daytime equipment of the living area has a cozy living room with a large soft sofa in front of the TV panel, a working area with open shelves for storing documents and books, as well as accessories. Near the sofa there is a small round-shaped table that can be easily moved from place to place and used as a coffee or coffee table.
In a small apartment-transformer there is a dedicated dining area: a table with a glass tabletop forms it near the window, which allows it to look very light and weightless despite its considerable size, and two chairs near it.
In order to visually highlight this area, a carpet of animal skins is laid on the floor. The dark gray chairs of simple geometric shapes are in harmony with the gray cover of the window, adding graphic quality to the transforming interior.
The kitchen unit is completely white, and designed in such a way that every centimeter of space is used, everything you need is at hand, and at the same time there is no feeling of tightness.
In the evening, the apartment is completely transformed by mobile elements. They serve at the same time as storage places, and movable “walls”, and those modules, moving which you can completely change the configuration of a small apartment-transformer. Sliding the “wall” with the TV closer to the sofa, you can open the entrance to the dressing room. It is full of modern storage systems for clothes - drawers, baskets, bars, shelves.
From the opposite “wall” you can put a bed on the floor - and then you will get a small cozy bedroom.
Every detail is provided in the transformer interior, everything is extremely comfortable and ergonomic. So, near the head of the bed there is a built-in cabinet for the alarm and everything that I want to have on hand, going to bed. If you turn the TV around the central axis, then you can watch TV programs without getting out of bed.
During the day, all sliding elements can be pushed in and have maximum space. Decorative ceiling beams are illuminated with LEDs, they not only add extra volume and complicate the space, but also serve as the main source of lighting in the apartment. Additionally, functional fixtures are used in various areas of the small transformer apartment.
