Designers from "Studio 3.14" designed a bright, interesting interior of a small apartment of 46 square meters. m., and at the same time used the space as efficiently as possible.
Layout
Initially the apartment had a free layout. Among the many possible planning decisions, designers chose one that provides for a minimum of partitions, the most functional and ergonomic.
The entrance of the studio is combined with the entrance to the bathroom and leads to the kitchen-dining room. The living area with space for watching television is separated from the kitchen by a high working desk-island, to which the bar counter is adjacent. The bedroom in the design of the studio apartment is located in a separate niche and is separated from the living room with the help of a thick curtain.
Style
A rather difficult task was to combine the style of the sixties, which the hostess liked very much, with modern ease and freedom of the interior. In order for both these directions to be realized in the apartment project, the designers chose light neutral colors of the walls and furniture, natural wood flooring, adding to them blue shades of textiles and some furniture and ornamented patterns.
The main decorative element in a small apartment was a wall made of natural wood of dark color. Thus, the project successfully combines classical, modern and retro motifs, and in general, style can be defined as eclecticism.
Living room
Space. The total volume of the room is divided into the living room and the kitchen - the division is carried out by the furniture, the nightstand with the adjacent bar, deployed to the kitchen, adjacent to the sofa, deployed to the living room. To further emphasize zoning, the ceiling was made in different levels.
Furniture and decor. The main decorative element of the living room, and the entire interior of the studio is a “wall” with a television panel. It is made in the retro style of the "sixties" and echoes the color of the floorboards. A cozy beige sofa is complemented by a bright blue armchair.
Light and color. A big plus is an apartment of 46 sq. M. m. are large windows to the floor - thanks to them in all rooms is very bright. Evening light is provided by LED lighting - it is laid on the ceiling in the niches, the Ambiente chandelier accentuates the living room and is a decorative element of the interior.
Light walls help to visually expand the volume of the room. Blue as an additional color gives freshness and lightness, and orange accents - sofa cushions - bring brightness and enliven the interior of the studio.
Kitchen
Space. The apartment is 46 square meters. The kitchen is small in size, so it was especially important to plan the working areas correctly. The work surface stretched along the wall, under it - closed storage cabinets. Above the work surface - light shelves instead of closed, "eating up" the space. The bar table is docked to the cabinet, in which you can store the necessary supplies.
Furniture and decor. The brightest decorative element of the kitchen is a working apron made of patterned tiles. In addition to functional kitchen furniture, the interior is complemented by a small coffee table in retro Eames style, referring to the sixties of the last century.
Light and color. There is one window in the kitchen area - it is larger, up to the floor, so in the daytime the lighting is ample. The windows are covered with curtains-pleated, opening in two directions - up and down. If necessary, you can cover only the lower part of the window opening to save yourself from indiscreet looks from the street.
Evening light is arranged in different levels: general overhead lighting is provided by overhead ceiling luminaires, the working surface is illuminated with spotlights, and additionally with two metal sconces, the dining area is highlighted by three white suspensions.
Bedroom
Space. The bedroom in the design of the studio apartment is isolated from the common room by a thick blue curtain with a white pattern. Near the bed - two high cabinets with a mirror surface, due to which the volume of the bedroom seems somewhat larger. The cabinets have niches that can be used as bedside tables.
Light and color. Large windows in the studio apartment provide good natural light for the bedroom when the curtains are opened. The general evening light is provided by ceiling lights, and there are two sconces above sleeping places for reading. Brown wallpaper behind the headboard provides a warm and cozy atmosphere, accented with bright pillows.
Entrance hall
The entrance of the studio forms a single space with the kitchen and is not separated from it, it is only marked with another flooring: in the kitchen there are wooden boards, like in the rest of the apartment, and in the hallway - light tiles with geometric patterns. In addition, to the right of the door there is a deep built-in wardrobe.
Bathroom
The bathroom is dominated by light-colored porcelain stoneware marbled - they are lined with walls. On the floor - ornamented tiles, in addition, part of the wall in the wet zone and near the toilet is decorated with mosaics.
Despite its small size, a shower, a large washbasin, a toilet and a washing machine were placed in the bathroom. Hanging pedestal under the sink and the cabinet above the installation of the toilet bowl are used for storing bath and cosmetic accessories.
