Interior design of a two-room apartment in pastel colors

Interior design of a two-room apartment looks eclectic. It combines two rather close styles, the French and Italian Provence, with both geographically and stylistically cold Scandinavian styles far from them. Combines their use mainly in the design of rural housing, rather than city apartments.

Interior in pastel colors bears in itself signs of all three country styles. It is based on natural materials: wood, ceramic tiles, textiles of various textures. The colors are “powdered”, soft, very light, but characteristic of Provencal style: blue, pistachio, brown.

AT interior design two-room apartment an old architectural method of organizing the space has been applied: the living room, dining room and kitchen areas are strung on one common axis and form an enfilade. This adds space and creates a feeling of "airiness."

Each zone has its own "chip" in the design, its center of gravity, althoughinterior in pastel colors looks like a single unit. In the living area - a sofa, a low coffee table and two chairs in the Scandinavian style.

In the dining room is a round table, which easily accommodates up to six people. It stands on the central axis and is the first to strike visitors in the apartment. Artificially aged white chairs of the traditional Mediterranean coast form with it an elegant group that sets the general tone interior in pastel colors.

The kitchen zone has its own center of attraction - an island that combines a bar counter and a hob. You can make breakfast and eat it right there.

AT interior design two-room apartment Scandinavian motifs are also used in the design of the bedroom (head of the bed) and the balcony. In the latter, we managed to distinguish two functional areas: a study that can be accessed from the bedroom, and a lounge area, which get from the living room. These zones are divided by a Scandinavian chest of drawers, over which shelves are hung. They can store books or grow greens.

The graceful bathroom is decorated with ceramic panels in the style of “patchwork”, and the emerald color of the curbstone under the sink reminds of the green hills of Italy. The screen under the bathroom, made of wood, represents the Scandinavian style in this room.
